Overview
Over the years, we at Computational
Engineering Inc. have provided various industries with many valuable services, through our strong set
of knowledge, experience, and expertise, and prevented major future failures, and saved companies and
business millions dollars and reputations.
- Medical equipment and biomedical devices industry (4 projects)
• In medical equipment and biomedical devices industry, we helped our customers with
many different products like heart valves, radiation digital scanning detector systems, and
optical electromechanical robotic system, etc.
• In these projects, we provided our expertise involving from highly sophisticated
concept development, complete analysis, verification, to validation for innovative multi-axial
degrees of freedom systems, resolved vibration mitigation and fracture issues, and enabled the
release of several high profitable products to the market.
- Electronic boxes industry (many projects in payloads and bus systems)
• In this industry, our service has mainly focused on satellite programs and aerospace
segments.
• In this highly sophisticated industry, our expertise has proven to be invaluble
through providing services from structuring assessment studies for next-generation payload units,
leading investigations for structural/mechanical failures, conducting investigations for
root-cause determination of structural/mechanical assemblies/components failures for many
satellite programs (including solar arrays, batteries, cables, connectors, electronic boxes),
performing PDRs, CDRs (critical design reviews) for structural/mechanical components/assemblies,
to reviewing structural assessment reports, test plans, and reworks procedures of contractors.
• In addition, we are also involved in repairing test plans, performing vibration
tests, evaluating results, and correlating with analytical results.
- Oil pipeline industry (2 projects)
• In energy industry, it is highly critical to identify failure modes, and our
expertise has played major roles in resolving the type of problems.
• In these two projects, the systems encompassed multi-connected thin-walled
structural assemblies that experienced large-strain plasticity in multiple snap-through/snap-back
behaviors under displacement-dependent pressure loading, so we provided highly nonlinear finite
element structural modeling, and eventually identified their failure modes, and resolved the
long-lasting problems.
- Tires (2 projects)
• In this project, we provided solutions from new concept design to improvement of its
legacy designs. And our expertise were instrumental to interpret the product material
characteristics, define its complex loading conditions, predict its highly nonlinear behavior and
dynamic response, and eventually resolved its solid modeling, configuration, and testing problems,
which tremendously improved its durability.
